My concept was based around the idea of future. I wanted to explore what happens after the Christmas party rather than during, and it plays with the humour that comes from people having already drank way too much and feeling the hangover developing.

There is more beauty in chaos than perfection, so when faced with creating a Christmas jumper editorial I opted to explore the aftermath of the party because of the anxiety that comes with it, thus generating this humour as it’s something that we all can relate to – the dread of the next day. Still, there is joy captured, as there would be in anything related to Christmas. In the weeks running up to Christmas, there is a certain joyful anticipation that you feel from everyone around you, friends or strangers, and I wanted to also present this joy as that is the reason I think that most people celebrate Christmas.
